Thank You to Our Veterans

Fewer and fewer Americans know what it means to fight for your country. To those who do, we owe a debt of gratitude and a commitment to honor the Constitution and flag under which they serve.

One Day Isn’t Enough

Veterans Day shouldn’t be THE day on which we honor those who sacrifice for our country, something we now put away until next Nov. 11th. It should serve as a reminder that each and every day our rights exist only because some citizens accept the obligation of defending them.

In my opinion we should forget about sin taxes on cigarettes or junk food; reduce business and income taxes and make up the difference with an ignorance tax....
