Just thought I would let you know that our daughter, Bethany, also very much enjoyed listening to “The Gathering Storm” as we drove home from a visit to the coast. We had to pause the CD several times as she asked questions and offered her newly-found insights into the material that Rabbi Lapin presented. This series is my favorite of all of Rabbi Lapin’s teachings so far. I learned so much as he went through the begats and explained the meaning of the names and why they are related in the manner that they are. I never realized Noah had no intentions for marriage until God revealed to him that his sons would play key roles in helping him complete the monumental task set before him.

As a stay at home mom, I found the Gathering Storm very encouraging in light of the current culture. The Gathering Storm helped me to understand the necessity “to build my boat,” and to have the courage to do it in “the bone of the day’!
I also was encouraged to learn that Adam had to exert energy in the garden to push back the chaos, even when he had no taxes, spouse, or children! I needed that fundamental principle reinforced.
